I went for a short walk on the beach below the Birch Aquarium last night.  There was a lot of kelp washed up on the beach and small, orange anemones were fastened onto some of the fronds. 

Also there were several similar anemones on the rocks. 

 I was able to get a photo of one open. 

I noticed several green anemones also – most of them were closed, however I found one open.  

When open these sea anemones look rather like a beautiful pale green flower.
