May 5th two years ago I was staying on Hilton Head Island, attending an ocean education conference. I stepped onto a beautiful, empty beach at 7.30am and went for a quick walk before breakfast. I found shells, a crab, and a horseshoe crab carapace. By the time I came back the deck chairs were out in neat rows and the bustle of the tourist day had really begun.

In the interior of the island the trees were beautiful .

I want to go back there one day.
