The Black and White Clownfish Have Eggs Again

Our black and white Ocellaris Clownfish have eggs again and they are such fun to watch.
These Clownfish are the same species as the often more familiar orange and white Clownfish as in The movie Finding Nemo. The black and white variety of Ocellaris Clownfish are found on the reefs of Northern Australia.
At the Birch Aquarium these fish are in a coral reef tank in our climate exhibit. The eggs look like little tiny pinhead bubbles waving on the side of a piece of rock. The Clownfish are extremely good parents. They are constantly tending to the eggs. You could say that they are obsessive about it!
I took a few photos earlier this evening.
