Wildflowers of Wildcat Canyon

On a beautiful day in May this year I went birding in Silverwood Reserve near Wildcat Canyon, (San Diego Audubon).  I am going to post  photographs of some of the birds I saw  but I could not resist showing you some of the stunning wildflowers  to be seen there in Spring first.  I added some Black-headed Grosbeaks at the end!

These are really lovely photos, and the grosbeaks at the end were a special treat. 🙂
