Carlisle Cranberry Bog, ME

At the beginning of July I went to the old cranberry bog near Carlisle.  It is a beautiful place – full of wildflowers,  birds and insects at this time of year. here are some of the photographs that I took as I walked around a small part of the reserve.

    I visited a cranberry bog when I was back east… it was full of cranberries… this one looks a lot more diverse and interesting.
